A historically accurate 1996 season for Team Principal: A Racing Manager — the real grid, engines, sponsors, all sixteen rounds and a full junior ladder. Now built for 0.99.1 “Definitive”.
Team Principal: A Racing Manager is a deep, text-driven single-player motorsport management sim. You run a racing team: hire drivers and engineers, negotiate engine and sponsor deals, develop the car part by part, set strategy and manage the budget across full championship seasons — while a living driver market and junior ladder feed talent up the grid.
Built for 0.99.1 “Definitive”. 0.99c rebuilt how the cars race each other; this release wires the 1996 season into all of it, fixes the thing everyone noticed — too many cars were finishing — and clears the 0.99.1 launch crash that hits every pack built for 0.99c.
The 1996 mod replaces the game's default season with the real 1996 Formula 1 world — every team, driver, engine, sponsor and circuit as it was — and adds a complete feeder-series ladder beneath it. Team lineages even evolve on their real timelines across a long career, all the way through to 2015.
The 1996 season in action — the grid, the markets and the junior series.

Requires Team Principal: A Racing Manager v0.99.1 “Definitive”. A new career is required — saves from earlier versions will not carry over.

Advanced alternative: instead of the menu, you can open active_pack.json in the game root and set "active_pack": "1996" by hand.
